LP2 continues where the debut album “best neighborhood band” left off with songs about the typical bobby themes of longing, love, and ecstatic experience; as well as adding to that songs about the city, survival in our modern situation, mortality and legacy, romantic negotiations, etc. While the vibe is consistent with earlier works from bobby, the sound is decidedly more modern and electronic (more a practical consideration than an aesthetic one). bobby blunders remains unequivocally devoted to mystery.
